Are You Overlooking the Moon?

Check out this great article by Paula Langguth Ryan from her web site Art of Abundance. There's plenty of wisdom here to help you in attracting your own prosperity.

I was lying on the beach next to my dear friend Beth, basking in the Baltimore sun, when I opened my eyes and realized that I could see the moon in the bright day sky. It surprised me so, that I pointed it out to her.

"Where did THAT come from?" she asked.

"I think it's always been there," I replied.

"I guess it's like when the thing you were looking for was right in front of you all the time."

I nodded in agreement.

"And you just didn't notice because you weren't expecting to find it there."

How often does this same theory apply to our finances? All too often, we're so busy trying to find a "fix" for whatever is going wrong in our finances that we don't realize that the only way to truly fix what's wrong is to stop trying to fix it.

Imagine you're in a small boat that is drifting out to sea. You start to panic, maybe stand up, trying to wave for help, or you start frantically bailing. All the while, you're causing the boat to rock more and more, tipping precariously to one side and then the next. You become certain that the boat will capsize or take on so much water that sinking is inevitable -- and imminent.

But what would happen if you just stopped trying to fix the situation? What would happen if you held still for a moment. If you backed off from your efforts to mend your past mistakes and simply allowed everything to just be. The boat would eventually stop tipping. The water -- your debt -- would eventually stop pouring in.

Sometimes, the only way to heal your relationship with money is to completely stop trying to "fix it." Let the Universe calm the ripples down. Do nothing. Simply be present. Do not run, do not hide. Just take a momentary pause to catch your breath.

In this stillness, you will find that your future course, your faith, your abundance, your moon, is clearly visible. In fact, it's been there all the time.

Prosperity Down Under

What happens when you come to the end of your rope? When you’ve done everything you possibly can and things are still not working out the way you want? When your customary patterns of responding to unpleasant circumstances are only making things worse?

It all depends on what you decide. What could happen is that you could follow fear and stress to its bitter end and find yourself in an even bigger mess.

Or you could surrender, admit what you don’t know, ask for help, relax and trust the Universe to look after you and experience miracles. That’s the path that Croz from Oz took seven years ago, and the changes that occurred in his life have instilled in him a passion to light the way for others who are ready to trade their ineffective habits of mind for ones that will attract their deepest desires.

Like most of us, Croz has read many business and self-help books, and yet he found himself repeating the same ineffective patterns and arriving at the same undesirable results again and again. Seven years ago, he arrived at a very low point in his life. His business was in trouble and his conditioned response was tension, resistance, fear and stress. What happened to motivate Croz to do things differently?

What happened was surrender – the realization that if he wanted different results, he needed to do something different. That something different was to follow the principles in the book The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles. Once he began to apply those principles, he experienced a number of benefits. His wealth increased by several million dollars. He now owns five properties and two businesses. He enjoys several holidays a year, and best of all, he is happier than he has ever been in his life.

Croz feels his mission is to show people how easy life is once you understand the principles. He believes that the best way to achieve a happy, healthy, wealthy, fulfilling life is to help others get there. He enjoys helping people realize their potential, and the wonderful feeling of seeing lives change for the better as people click on new thought patterns. He has seen family rifts healed, and observed many people achieve financial results far beyond their expectations.

Croz believes that accountability and synergy are an important part of your growth and development as you set out on your course of change. He has found that working with at least one other person while learning these principles helps keep you on track and helps you overcome the tendency we all have to let things slide. “When at least two people get together and jointly travel the same path, the result of their combined thoughts and energy is more than the sum total of their individual power,” Croz says.

He believes that in order to experience profound change in your life, you must have a real desire for change, deep enough and passionate enough to motivate you to do things differently. And you have to believe that change is possible, that you have the power to change and that the principles you are following will produce the desired results.

You are creating your life day by day and moment by moment. However, once you get your head around the principles of wealth creation and understand how you are creating your experience, you align yourself with the Universe and wonderful things start to happen. You begin creating deliberately rather than haphazardly.
